dimma grille

I bought a dimma grille about 6 weeks ago sprayed it and then tryed to fit it to my car. smileys/smiley7.gif
The probelm is that it will not fit flus to the bonnet and the screws will ne reach the grille.
Do I need adaptors to go behind the gille?
All the pitures show them fitting really nice.
Can someone tell me how to fit it properly?

When i fitted mine the thin piece of metal that goes behind the grill on the bonnet needs cutting off.

Once that was off it fit flushly in. The mesh was fitted after using some longer screws, on those screws nuts and washers were used to get a tight fitting mesh to the grill surround. Hope that helps!!!!
