Following reading this thread which basicly says it's 120bhp at the flywheel - http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137127 Anyone got evidence it's from the fly?
I had to look into this, gave citroen a call who assured me the BHP is taken at the wheels.

Gave Parkers a email too asking where there BHP figures were taken from - the fly or the wheels. The reply is below:

Hi - thanks for the email. All BHP figures are quoted at the wheels, as is with all manufacturers.

Cool mate, just wanting to know every ones thoughts on this as it seems strange different places are saying different things!!!!
What have you done to your VTS, manifold/exhaust/air filter etc???

Obviously engines lose bhp as they get older (not running as they did when new or not being maintained as they should etc).

So a VTS that should be 120bhp could be below that when taken on the RR.

Ye I know no car is the same etc.

Just strange why Citroen would say it's ATW though? May have to call them and question them about it.

I remember my mate taking his standard Civic Jordan on the RR and it was 158bhp ATW, they are 157bhp standard on the spec list!?!?!

LOL, ye I have had similar problems with them too.

I'll have to let parkers.co.uk know that they don't know what they're talking about either.

Not strictly True about engines losing BHP as they get older some produce more BHP because they loosen up.
