What is the best way or products to remove stickers from your car e.g. the ones down the sides of the doors?
I went into halfors the other day and a guy said to use tar remover, what u'z think?

Have used a hairdryer but still got a gluey mess which isnt moving, gona try the halfords way tomorow i think.

use either T cut or Auto Glym Bug and Tar remover on the bits of glue

i just use warm water and an old membership card or something like that easy

i used turps on my old escort to get the glue off! came off straight away and didnt harm the paint either!

methylated spirit was used on mine! the type of stuff you use for camping stoves or fondue sets... purply colour liquid...

Cheers was just woried bout what might damage the paint. Will get some tar remover 2day n c how it comes up.

just got to be gentle with it as not to scratch the paint but you can always give it a nice polish afterwards.

Auto Glym Bug & Tar Remover definitely. I swear by the stuff. dissolves the glue really easily - you can just rub it off. no marks left on paintwork either.
