to get a professional to come out and udm my car, the full car, as it has lots of swirl marks, and lots of defects, and i mean loads!! i really want it done and i was looking around 200 but i looked on the polished bliss website and its like 595 plus vat :wacko: ouch! anywhere else i can try or does anybody know anyone in the local area?

your best place would be DW. theres a few people on here but i wouldnt have anyone but cloud and ash on my car tbh. ill see if i can find you someone on DW in a bit ;)

y not do it yourself. Its not as hard as you think. I use a new sponge every time i cleen my car using the two bucked method with turtalwax wahs and wax shampoo in green bottle the dry car with lint free cloth the polish using machine and autoglym polish

what sort of sponge and machine ;)
take a read of the guides etc in the sticky at the top of the forum

I use that sponge and that sort os machine but abit bigger and powerful that plugs into mains

thats just a buffer, it aint a udm otherwise everyone would be buying them, wish i could remove all my swirls. yack!

if you used srp then you would be masking swirls but if looks better thats what matters.
black eyed, ill get round to it later :oops:
have you clayed the car before? this is something you could do before you had it poished as it does take alot of time and it will save you money aswell

i havent :p but i was definately thinking of doing that, maybe next month, today im going to give it a good wash and buy some super resin polish see how that works, want it nice and shiney :y:

was gonna say that aswell lol. yeah get some resin polish, it will turn out ok. would be better if you clayed before though. paint would be like glass then.
an idea srp would be to do a couple of panels a night o something as it will take ages and your arm will be hanging off. then a nice wax to top off ;)
