hello all :)
ok.. i was on a website eariler and it was saying that a mk2 furio only has a top speed on 109 mph. is this true? i thought it was higher?
also will modding the car have any effect on this top end? or will the gearing have to be changed to change top end? (by modding i mean induction, mani, exhaust etc...)
All comments welcome.

They go higher than that. The speedos on saxos are rather inaccurate but ive had 120 on the dials on my mates private road. Which is prob about 115, and they get there without the rate of acceleration decreasing. They just work their way upto their peak and leave it there. Accelerations the important part anyway how often do you get to use top speed?

Ah right, well a mates also done 114 in a quiksilver on GPS so I know they go a little further than 109. The figures for 0-60 are well out too

why do you need to get over a ton? lets be honest, there isnt a piece of road long enough to get a furio upto that speed anyways ;)

Haha standard. Love how people lark on about how slow furios are, when they have like a measley 20bhp more. WOW.
Mate used to do it...
