Hi peeps, just wanted some quick advise on meshing the grille, ive got a black mk 2 VTR and i want to do somethin with the grille soon as its lookin old an worn lol i was thinkin of using black mesh and leave the chevrons alone, ive got standard lights tho so i dont kno how it would look? help!

It will look quit good!!you could paint your grill the same colour as your cat??

Can u use a hacksaw to cut out the slats aswell? or does it have to be a dremmel??

You could use hacksaw,would be better with craft knife thow,much cleaner cut matey!!!...

wot type of paint do i have to get from halfords, like what type of black do i get?

You can paint it the colour of your motor or just leave the standard black,mines black,on metalic red vts matey!! goes well with me morettes....hope this helps you in some way matey!!

If done right they look top, but dont rush it and make a bosh job out of it, very easy to ruin, like i did the first time :p

you could do it all black chevrons and all. but black mesh with silver chevrons looks good as well. when i did mine i used a hacksaw and a craft knife. like some people have said dont rush it and if you start getting annoyed put it down. its very fiddly in places.

Ide use Halfords plastic primer 1st, as good base. For which ever colour you chose to paint with!!.....
