Agreed, that is the best thing to do.
Unless you make up some small brackets and screw it to the floor.
Or you can use industrial velcro.

Use velcro, nice and cheap and does the job perfect, easy to take out if you ever need too, and wont be rolling about in the corners :y:

as above, velcro would be best tbh, easier, cheaper and faster to do than building a false floor.

The thing with velcro is that your only attatching the sub to the carpet. Whats the capert held on by? Not a lot!
So in the event of a crash the sub could come flying at the back of your head, with a boot carpet attatched to it!!:panic:

Agree with Cooper, false floor will cost about a tenner to make, well worth it

Nah, you do it so that it keeps it all nice and tidy, it hides your amps from thieves, and it supports the sub to stop it flying round in the boot.
This is mine. I actually have 3 amps and shit loads of wiring and spaghetti under that floor! Lol But you'd never know;)

I have velcro under carpet to stick that down niceley then velcro on sub, then use 2 little L brackets from B&Q with small screws that firmly fix it in place, its good round corners at high speed so I can honestly recemend it.
