go to halfrauds and get a kit that will cover up the scratch marks in the colour of your car.

or they sell certain colour pens for the job?

Brush your fingernail over the scratch and see if it catches... if it does then the scratch has gone deeper than the laquer.. and would require a touch up kit to mask it.. or a bodyshop to remove it...

If it doesnt catch.. it can be taken out using an orbital polisher and some cutting compound...

Where abouts are you located?

Hey there..

The advice from FurioAL is spot on :y: For clearcoat defects, the machine polisher can remove or atleast vastly improve upon most marks.

I recently put up a thread about a day I spent Wet Sanding and Polishing..

Hope it helps you :y:

T cut uses old technology, and leaves microabrasive particles on the car, so make sure you wash your car thoroughly after use to prevent further damage to your paint...

You'd have to be superman to get rid of a noticeable scratch by hand... you'd need an orbital polisher to work G3 cutting compound in for it to work effectively...

What autoglym product did you buy? im guessing super resin polish? that will help mask minor swirls in your paint as it has some filler properties in it... but it wont reduce noticeable scratches...

Hope that helps!

your right! might need to save up a few pound for that oribal polisher, bit pricey but looks like it does the trick from your results
