What settings on FLI active sub

Hi,

Just wondering if any of you would be able to help me with what to set my sub/amp package to, so i get the best quality without rattling my car till its in bits.

I have one of these, Fli 12" active sub 1000watts

On the back there is:
frequency, 50hz - 250hz
Bass boost, min - max
And gain, min - max

And on my headunit i have:
bass 0 - 6
and treble 0 - 6


I know its trial and error, and personal preference but if someone could give me a good starting point to go from it would be great.

for the settings on amp and headunit, there is only you that will know what is right,its your ears ;) just have a good play about with the settings :y:
