Hi there,

Took my mk2 vtr in for it's MOT today and it failed on the 'Brake Load Sensing Valve Linkage - Seized'. Is it easy to release?

I've had a look in my Haynes but can't see any mention of it in there.

Cheers.

I'm not sure what it looks like though thats the problem. Isn't is behind the rear passenger side wheel?

ive been failed in like 3 diff cars for the same thing!1 they seize up all the time on them!! try it with wd 40 or spray grease and see if it frees up and if nt then just remove it and losen it up!! its not a big job!!

even i was able to do it!!

I've searched a couple of forums, it seems that it's a common problem with cars with rear discs.

It was the only thing it failed on so I'm not to down hearted haha.

Ha ha I was going to buy a new one for my disk beam thats going on shortly but @ circa £70 for the whole valve I'm just soaking the original in WD40 everyday for the next 2 weeks! lol
