central locking fob..

Well, mine hasnt worked since i got the car, worked out that water was coming through erial so probably killed it, was wondering, if i got the bit from up near the sunroof off my other car, and the fob, would it work??

Why would a leaking roof stop the fob from working? I dont quite get you mate...

And no, you cant use any fob, well you can, but you need to get it programmed by Mr Citroen.

because its been leeking onto where the sensor thing is in the car, water was dripping through the black plastic dome kinda thing, so i think its just facked it because the lad who had the car before left it leeking, so i mean if i replaced the chip kinda thing that detects the button been pressed
