Insurance needs renewing soon just wondering what i would be looking at to insure a VTR, 2001 model, lowered, alloys, straight throu, 1 years driving experience. An can anyone recommend low priced insurance companies and where to look.

And 2 be honest it's guna be pretty expensive with the stupid prices on young drivers these days :n:

2000 vtr. 18 with 1 years driving, 0ncb, quoted £1150, with mammy and daddy as named drivers(thats with bell)
is that 1 year no claims?

I'm paying £800 on my vtr with with Quinn, 18, 1yrs ncb, lowered, sports steering wheel, induction kit, ashley backbox :y:

most of the time its down to the area on this scenario.

Give morethan a go. They only insure people 18+. Im with them, own policy,02 VTR, 1 ncb, 1yrs license, £580 TPFT.
Miles cheaper than anybody else. Flux wouldnt even insure me.

Live in sandbach which isn't high risk postcode so that should help

im 18 and getting a vtr...i rang up adrian flux and they pretty much hung up on me!! they said they dont insure drivers under the age of 19 on a vtr!! :S

im 19 wit one years no claims i lowered, exhaust full tinted windows and i pay 650! that is third party fire an theift tho but thats wit elephant

im 17 my insurance is £900 passing my test in december i drive a saxo vtr insurance in my name with my parents on my insurance which works out and then i still get my own no claims!! bonus ey?

Try bell mate just had a qoute on a vts back, im 19 tho, but i have 0ncb and it only came back as 1450, 03plate vts

hey mate, got a VTR myself just turned 18 and costing me a bomb, mine is £1,900 Fully Comp (live in a bad arena of hull), my car is piritty much lowered , exhaust, tinted window's, air filters etc... jst no body kit :)
alot of people said go to quinn (online gives big quote, try what my mate did n ring up cause he got his alot cheaper)

all depends on area, those codes are ok but specific areas on the accident rates will be the bigest things, also all these guyes on their parents good luck but the one with all the mods, i do hope they are declaired....
the more uninsured (people undeclaired mods or driving their car as their own on their rents insurance) all uninsured will up prices in your area as well as number of accidents.
good luck lol just shop around, try a local broker

whats the first part of your post code mate?
this could be the reson why its really cheap.
