It was a narrow road with parked cars on both sides, and i came to a T junction and a taxi pulled out, blocking my road and refused to reverse, so i slowly pulled around him and had to wait as a car was coming the other way (waiting for it to go past me using the gap next to me)
the car behind me had the same idea as me and when he tried it the taxi pulled out more and he swered and hit into me,
thats about it really, im still waiting for the guy to get back to me with insurance details....:err:

same as my best mate, first thing people think when they take the smallest bump from behind, sit rubbing their hands at the new car they will get from wearing a brace for a few days... :wall:

Sorry but all these people calling people who have took whiplash claims because some dope wasnt paying attention and went into the back of them, why shouldnt they, they didnt ask the dopey bastards to crash into them did they. What does the innocent victim get their car repaired, what only needs repairing because someone went into it in the first place. Surely they deserve something for their troubles dont they?
Sorry about you car mate i forgot myself a little their i just think its harsh for people to instantly poke their fingers at the people who were bumped.

Disagree. I had some dizzy bint drive into me recently. People said that I should claim for whilash. Why? I will only end up paying it back again in insurance premium hikes

they get it sorted as they should. they shoudlnt be getting money for something that doesnt exist should they? just puts everyone elses premiums up.
Its illegal at the end of the day.

respect for talkin sense there, and not claiming when you were in that situation. Easy for people to diss it until they actually have the option to fake it or not. Here catch *throws a gooey green blob*
Edit: blob missed, gotta spread the legs to other people

deserve something for their troubles? well, they get their car repaired on the other person's insurance.
is that not enough???
if it was an innocent mistake, why should the other person have to lose out on money because some money grabbing cunt has faked having whiplash?
fraud isnt big, and it isnt clever.

its a good point about the premiums going up, i think i was just a little rattled about this comment my brother got owned by some slags who did that, them slags wouldnt of been in a situation to pop whiplash claims in if it wasnt for your bro crashing into them in the first place, ive been rear ended and i never claimed whiplash im not one of those people who would fake it either, but i was talking from a point of view that been crashed into weather its a light shunt or a hard rear end bump, its going to make some people nervous about driving again, its alot of trouble having to get quotes to get the car repaired, you will more than likely be without your car for long lengths of time. So the point im getting across is how can you blame someone for claiming when they wouldnt be in that position in the first place. It seemed as if you were pointing fingers at innocent partys to me

if we were to recieve compensation fees that would be included with the insurence payout, but no such thing exists unfortunetly so we got to get on with it. Instead of committing fraud.

I was in a car when another hit the backend, was so slight i thought the driver had slipped off the clutch.......
was 16 at the time and got £4,500 compensation money, which helped me out then, bought my motorbike and bought my sax AND payed the years insurance :)
Claim away if u can tbh, might aswell, you havnt really got much to loose!

My old 1.1 got shunted from behind and was a write off so obviously had to go thoruhginsurers, I had to goto Hospital as well as I genuinly did have neck and back pain, still do after nearly 2 months but depends on the circumstances in some cases
dont think its been said.....pics of damage!

Quick update!
The guy has been a pain in the arse, i rang him to get his details he said ring back as he cant find the details,,,,
Rang back 10 mins later as he asked, no answer over the next 30 mins rang about 5 times on the last try his GF answered and told me he has to drive to maldon to his house to get the details and will call me when he gets in,
3 hours pass and still nothing, bare in mind its about 30 mins away where he has to drive to, by this time 11pm-12am i was asleep and mother rang to see what was going on, and his GF answered again and they had a row over the phone!
then when i woke up i had been told that she left a voicemail on my mothers phone saying that the Excess was £250 and she wanted to deal with the problem in cash,
So later today i went to my local citroen dealer to get a quote they sent me down the road to their contracted body shop and he said that even though the damage is light i need a complete new back bumper which will need to be sprayed and the clips that hold the bumper have been crushed inwards and the panel (SLAM PANNEL?) is bent
So rang up to tell the guy this hi GF asnwers again and tells me that im lying the damage was minor and refuses to give me the details......
So am off to the cop shop tommoz morning to find the PCSO's that saw the accident then contact my insurance to tell them he is being difficult,
Any other ideas?
Paul

Cheers for all the support guys,
Went down there this morning, (copshop) the guy is gonna find out who the PCSO's were
And i rang insurance and they managed to get a bit of info out of him, he told my insurance that i am ripping him off,
My quote for repairs came back at £700 considering there is next to no damage on the bumper, but it needs to be replaced....
So with a bit of luck! i should have this pretty much sorted soon :y:

Tbh mate this guy sounds like an absolute cock... my mate went into me at barely 10mph in my old 1.1 and it was a write off with the damage coming up close to £2600 of the garage his insurance company used. Got a quote from 2 local garages, one said £1400, one said £2400.
So £700 to get yours done isn't too bad, and the guy that claims your ripping him... tell him next time not to ram you in the ass, the stupid twat.
And as for claiming on whiplash/injuries, when people like this are involved and are un-cooperative... why not try and get more for it? I didn't claim on any injuries, but that's because he was my mate lol. But still when people who hit you are acting like jerks, why not push up their premiums for next year?
Also from a legal point of view, if you have the quote figures from legit garages, and he was in the wrong, his insurance will have to pay out regardless i think?
Good luck getting it all sorted mate, hope it don't take too long :y:

Yeah, well they said i need to get a quote with one of their approved body repairs, when i told them who i got the quote with it was the same people that they told me i would need to get it done by!
So kinda laughs off his trying to rip him off theory?
