xbox 360 and music

Just bought a 360 whats teh best way off gettin my music onto the 360 most of my music is on a external hard drive. Can somebody please talk me trhough it

Can you not plug in your hardrive via usb? failing that you could either:
A) put it onto your mobile and then usb it accross from you phone (If your phone has alot of memory that is)
B) create a data disk, then rip it from that

Suppose you could always connect your 360 to your pc via an ethernet cable then transfer music that way .
