woke up this morning nearly choking to death look in mirror and jees my uvula is swollen to fook , trying to get into doctors to see what they can give me anyone else had this before or know what it might be

I get this alot when i have a sore throat best thing to do is get a hot cup of tea drink it as fast as you can bear because the hot water in the drink kills the infection.

yes mate iv'e had this a couple of times in my life and understand exactly how you feel! its horrible it feels like you need to keep swallowing but theres nothing stuck there it feels like its sitting on your tongue not nice at all. i think its usually when you have a virus. But to be honest the 2 times i've had it have been are a VERY heavy session on the booze. But like i say i think its when your body gets a virus. Definately best to go to the doctors and get it checked out or take some anti inflammatory pills?

might be because i tried to inhale helium couple days ago , i dont know whats done it , but really doing my head in now , just took a quick drive to my nearest chemist all they gave me is some lozengers , and some throat spray :( , doubt they will help , amazed they werent busy

within 2 days i was back to normal

was very painful
