should look good sinking them into the floor, but your alot better off gettin some decent componenets for the front as they will be louder and 6x9s are generally shite lol

Agreed! They will make it sound worse!:n:

Unless of coarse you were to put them in their own sealed enclosures, in which case they sound bad, not awfull.

ThegreenVTR
4th April 2008, 15:06

Predator_R32
4th April 2008, 15:07
lol quite a budget, you want the whole car lowered??

if so then leave at least 200 pound for that

are you just wanting speakers up front, a sub, decent wiring and an amp to power it al ???

ThegreenVTR
4th April 2008, 15:10

Predator_R32
4th April 2008, 22:30
so components, sub, wiring and an amp your wanting??

ThegreenVTR
4th April 2008, 22:32
pretty much thinking monoblock?

Predator_R32
4th April 2008, 22:35
well mono amps are specifically designed for a sub mate, you have 2 options really

a mono amp to power sub and a 2 channel to power components

or

just one 3/4 channel amp to power both

ThegreenVTR
4th April 2008, 22:36
what could you suggest for a 3/4 channel amp?

Predator_R32
4th April 2008, 22:50
all depends on the sub and speakers you get mate but the audison srx3 is probablies the best for a set of components and a sub, perfect amp, only problem is the price, there 300 new but second hand there about 150, have a look around if theres any kicking about :y:

...in the bin

think the threads moved on from the 6x9s tbh..

you got a fair budget, get a good install for that, would personally try and pick up your stuff second hand, allways get them at a steal compared to what you pay new.
Usually good stuff kicking around on here if you look at the right time.

theres alot wrong with them in the opinion of those who like music ;)

Sound stage is moved to the wrong place, with a sub they are totally useless etc...
