im saving the pennys at the minute but needed some credit on my phone so thought i would buy a £5 top up voucher and keep the oter fiver for dinner n brekky at work. from about 7 this morin i tried n tried n tried to top up but it kept takin me through all these options 'to top up, press one, to top up using voucher, press 2.......................please enter the 14 digit no on your voucher' etc so i go through all this which takes ages and eventually the automated lady says 'sorry, i didnt quite catch that' and hangs up. i try again about 10more times n still no luck!

so i try ringin customer services and have to go through loads more options again. eventually at the end of it all she says 'to speak to an advisor press 2' so i do and she says 'sorry, i didnt quite catch that'. tried about hundred times.

eventually had to borrow someone elses phone to ring the helpline and top it up. all for a fiver.

really considering switching to 02 as my mum has some sim cards. is anyone else with vfone that has probems or with 02?
sorry for long post!

owe vodafone £900 cos i didn't set up a direct debit, just paid when the bill came through, didn't send me anything for 5 months then a big bill saying £900 must pay now.
my actual bill is £245 them months but they put a £700 disconnection fee on it and cant get it off!!

never been with o2 so i can't comment but anything is better than vodafone!

didnt realise it they were having problems! it seemed to work on someone elses phone. i understand this but could have atleast said 'we are experiencing problems' rather than taking me through it all then saying 'sorry didnt quite catch that' lol.

maybe they just dint bother with me cus i was being tight only toppin with a fiver. prob saw my number come up n thought ' lets mess with her' lol

Im on T Mobile Mates Rates

I top up on a friday, meaning I get Free Texts all weekend (This does get abused, people waking up to 300 texts and what not) If I top up on a Friday with my Debit Card I get £2 free Credit aswell as the free texts.

Meaning £12 Credit for £10, free texts all weekend and then 3p a text untill I next top up ^^

I used to have Problems with Vodafone when I was on Pay as you Go.
I'm now on Contract, but the screen on my phone can suddenly go dark for no reason, it sometimes does it halfway through a txt message, everytime I took it into Vodafone sod's law would have it, the phone wouldn't muck about.

I pay £25 a month with 100 minutes, 150 txts and FREE Evening and Weekend Calls.
I would never go back to pay as you go as it works out more expensive than Contract.

Sometimes.
But not always.

I've had problems with vodafone, when I've needed to contact customer services help number that they put on your phone, I typed my mobile number in, and it kept saying "Please enter your mobile phone number!"

In the end I used a number on the top of one of my Bill's and got help from them.
