componenets are the speakers with 3 parts, but they given better sound quality aprently becaus the sound is split up into "mid" "high" and the "regular" i think and therefore with 3 components they each do there own job rather than just having a normal speaker with one cone that has to do all 3 jobs i think

what infintity speakers you got atm matey?

depends really! speakers are now coming out as 3-way which means they do the job of the tweeters built into the speakers.

my speakers are 3-way speakers with tweeters in them. Pioneer kelvar coated ones

And i have the head unit setup using the DSO which gives the impression of the speakers being right beside your ears and the tweeters right infront of you. it is like respoitioning the speakers 2 feet higher when using DSO

no contest. Components hands down, every single time.

Some Coaxials are very very good but still cant reproduce sound like components can. The tweeter is still smaller than a normal component set and the area of the woofer cone is really small due to the tweeter tower.

I at first didnt beleive that components would be any better (long time ago nowsmileys/smiley17.gif) and when i changed to them for the first time the difference is out of this world, you hear all sorts of things you have never heard before and everything is just so much clearer and more pleasing to the ear.
