me abs warning light has just come on when driving. i got a crunching noise when i put me foot on the brake on the passenger side was only going about 5 mph. any sugestions.

that's happened to me mate, don't worry about the crunching noise that's just ABS system either turning on the light or turning it off. My ABS light is still on and stays on permanently when cars running, my only suggestion is take it to citroen or another mechanic who have the machine that will read for faults in the ABS system, did this wit mine but am getting a clean report with no faults found smileys/smiley5.gif

Hope u avn't got a MOT soon coz that will fail it m8

if you're getting a clean report on a diagnostic computer then it's more than likely a wiring fault. finding it could be a real cnut tho! smileys/smiley3.gif smileys/smiley2.gif try fitting new wheel speed sensors, it could be that water has got into the wiring or the sensor itself.

have bin to a garage to ask about abs and for a saxo vts it costs £100 for a sensor and £40 for this rubber thing or somink. but i got a warrenty with me car and have phoned the garage were i got it from. am droping the car off on thursday. hope it aint with them long. getting it all done for free yer baby.

Shold be sorted easily.. May be as easy as cleaning up an ABS sensor.

If specifically asked for ABS at factory when made , then they can.
But naX has a VTS anyhow.
