i know....you think about it....all the players that Arsenal have got came prior to 2005 (benitez took over 04-05 season) Benitez started his programme that he has got going now in 05-06 season where he purchased some highly rated youngsters. he brought some bad players..but got a profit in the end.

In a way....Benitez has got a huge hill to climb. Arsenal have had their youngster project since 2004ish....Liverpool cant compete with the money of Man Utd and Chelsea in the transfer market. for this reason, Benitez invests in young talent that will eventually come good after some development. (look at Plessis against Arsenal on Saturday just gone)
