Not sure if im being really thick but i have a R reg 1997 VTR i was wondering does it have a alarm as when i brought the car it didnt come with a alarm fob and only 1 key, it has central locking by unlocking it by turning the key in the door? Just wondering if the vtr's had alarms on them as standard or not? Cheers

i have just ordered my new key fob direct from my local citroen dealer it cost me £44.92, it worked without re-coding the locks. Although any1 wanting to do this will need to get the number off the back of their rcl sensor its on a yellow sticker. just remove the incar light in the roof and remove the whole plastic centre console of the roof and it is there. Also u need to take your V5 log book to the garage to prove its your car even though u have the keys... Hope this helps any1 who is thinking abt doin it, cheers 4 every1s help in the first place.
