Mk2 VTR - which brake pads??

Hi there - its query time again!

I`ve got a late 2002 Mk2 VTR and I want to uprgrade the brake pads and disks. Disks not a problem but I`ve been asked by a few companies whether I need "ATE" or "Bendix" pads.

Anyone know what they`re talking about and which ones I should be getting?? - the "bendix" ones sound far too much like a washing machine for my liking smileys/happy.gif

Bendix would be pads for solid discs, and ATE would be for vented discs.
Its the make of caliper you have on it basically.
Front on VTR would be vented on that model.

rear ones are solid on mine. When I got pads for them, there was only one listed anyways.
