Weekend Barcelona Getaway, Help Needed!!!!!!

Afternoon Lads & ladies,

Right well im looking to take me and the missus to Barcelona for a couple of days in may, i need some ideas on where to book flights and hotels and whether its better to get a package deal or find both seperately.

Im looking to leave early in the morning on Friday 23rd May and return late Sunday 25th May.

theres shit loads of hotels mate, you may be able to get a late deal

just try both a package and seperately, flights wasnt cheap for us either

reccomend you buy a two/ three day tourist bus pass, takes you all round the city on three seperate routes, red blue and green. stop off at camp nou too ;)

as jaybiss said get the bus tour was £18 all day for us when i went with my mates last may

In the past we've flew to Reus, which is in the middle of Salou and Barca, flights are dirt cheap. I went with easyjet from Liverpool.

In Barca itself, theres plenty of places to stay around the middle. Its a great city!

Prices are a bit steeper round the Ramblas and Mariner though. We stayed somewhere inbetween The Nou Camp and the Ramblas which was an awesome spot, about 10 mins walk to each...

Watch out for pick pocketers aswell, theyre everywhere, bloody pikeys!

aye the main bit is full of some right scum, but the park is also worth a visit its really pretty and some great photo opportunities but it is mint when i was on the bus tour you see some well nice boats that belong to the rich and famous and im pretty sure i saw ronaldino unless it was just some unfortunate dude lol

sometimes the internet cant get you the best deal, try a travel agent too. i use going places alot if you have one near you.

tell her, we will go round camp nou then the next day go the shopping centre or zoo

would reccomend the oylmpic arena bit. its got awesome views etc

you see espanyols stadium and training ground too

you can go inside the stadium for some pics etc, theres a restaurant but its shit

to get in you have to go to the left of the club shop but outside of the gates
