Just browsing through ebay tonight and seen this vts.
Was there a limited edition saxo like this?
If so does anyone know what mods were done to achieve 160bhp.

hey nah it isnt true, viper emailed citroen the other day and they replied saying there wasnt its so annoyin people make up this limited edition malarky lol

the mods done are breathing mods and headwork. so you can see its a load of bollox

the company LAD Motorsport took these saxo vts's

and tuned them up very fast

well they are sort of a limited edition but not a official one i think.

but as for correct information, lad offer the tuning package saying 160 with those mods. its all in the wording

aren't they like 'dimma's'..

write off's, that are purchased by companys and 'limited edition'd', or thats what im led to believe.

Tour De Course? What an effing joke!

Is that what LAD called it that week? hahaha!

I once went up to Morecambe and had a look at LAD's garage - what a fooking dump! Just 2 dizzy looking blokes (one looked like Shaggy out of Scooby Doo and the other something out of the Adams Family).

Then there was Ernie Lawton himself, 'yes, an extra 40bhp is achieved through head work and a manifold' - like fook!

Also claimed they had a contract with Citroen Manchester and built 60 or so limited Edition 'SAN REMO' Saxos - all with 160bhp :clown:

With these mods you'll be lucky to see any more than 135bhp and that's assuming the car is making around 120bhp to start with.

LAD are a bunch of cowboys - avoid.
