360 Gaming Profile Problem

Easy all. I've just signed up to xbox live and created a new profile and deleted my old one. On my old profile i had loads of saved games though and loads of achievements but i can't get these onto my new profile. Is there any way of doing this or have i completely fucked it up?

i would guess that as you deleted the old one, you got rid of everything else with it.

Thats the thing, i still have all of the data of the saved games but does that really matter?
