where to download music from??

i used to use kazaa to download all my music from, but it fucked my pc as it was over-run with spyware!!! have had it all sorted now and have deleted kazaa from my pc.
where is a decent place to download music from that wont ruin my computer? where do you all get yours from?

I've never had trouble with them, and i've d/led plenty of songs from them, i have got ZoneAlarm as prtection though.

i used to have Kazza but it completley fooked my computer up got rid of it then used winmx but it takes ages to download and i havnt got the patience so i dont bother with any anymore, just get them off my freinds easier

LIMEWIRE is the best and fastest. its always been ok on my computer and ive had a load of tunes from them with no probs, its totally free to. its a bit like winmx only faster and a lot easier to use smileys/smiley2.gif smileys/smiley4.gif

Yep allofmp3.com it is a great site i put $30 credit on so only £15 ish and i have got about 13 albums. if you down load there browser you can just click and down load the hole album it is all taged and titled so when you write it to mp3 or wma you just have to drag and drop the album file. smileys/smiley4.gif

Kazaa is filled with all that spyware stuff, pop ups and ads etc.

its best to avoid it now, but was great at the time.

it seems everyone has to jump to a different one every 6months to a year.

I remember using napster all that time ago, then aimster, bear share, kazaa etc etc...

I got lime wire after seeing these posts and I must say the songs are good quality and fast downloading and there is a wide range of stuff but if you are looking at stuff from other countries(which most of you aren't!) it is pretty crap as it is mainly english songs!!!!

i have downloaded limewire and it is pretty good, easy to use, and have had no problems with the songs that i have downloaded already!!
