Does your insurance have screen cover if it needs a new one? Or could you get the current owner to use their policy?

i had problems with my wheel bearings when i had my saxo and i had to get a whole new rear axle which was a few hundred notes.

Windscreen could be expensive as there quite hard to get out unless you can get someone such as autoglass to take you one out of a scrap car and fit it in your new car otherwise when getting them out they crack..

Why would he want a older vtr?

No harm test driving it tho and seeing the general condition etc,

make sure to check all the norms, water condition oil etc, and make sure there is no knocking from the engine lol.
