Fuel Cap ????

i know this sounds stupid but i have got a fuel cap replacement for my saxo , the wierd thing is i cant get the key out of the old fuel cap unless a put the fuel cap back in (How stupid is that), has anyone else had this problem ???? or is it just a case of taking it out a using a spare set of keys ???

take the cap off and look at the back of it for what happens when you turn the key, there is a ring that moves, this has to be held in place with say a small screwdriver or something this wll release the key.

Taken the cap barrel out and still no joy , had a new key cut ,

Got the key out , you have to lift up the barrel at the back (only about a milimeter, quite difficult to do) and the key pops straight out

yeah i had the same problem with mine too, it is hard to do by yourself as it can really hurt your hands lol
