I bought and paid for a jbl gto 75.4 (http://www.icebuyer.co.uk/gto-754-520w-4-channel-amplifier-p-11522.html) from this site (icebuyer not saxp) last friday, and it said next day delivery.

Waited saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday and now thursday with no delivery.
As you can imagine i was a bit annoyed. So i phone up to complain and have a go:angry:
Turns out they dont have this in stock amymore and arnt selling it anymore:n: so the guy then said i can give you another amp for the same price, he recommended the Juice JA790 (http://www.icebuyer.co.uk/ja790-1200w-4-channel-amplifier-p-11534.html) saying it was around £120. he then realise his mistake as it was £150 with the vat. But i was like yeh ill have that one so he couldnt really say no after just saying i could have it. So now im getting a £150 amp for £95 (the 95 included p+p) so im pretty chuffed:y:

to be honest, I wouldn't be expecting a great deal from that amp, it doesn't mention anywhere the RMS ratings of the amp - and Juice - who the hell are they?

If I were you, i'd have said, fine, refund me my money and i'll get it elsewhere......

I'd of personally probably opted for a refund, audio which doesn't mention RMS usually doesn't mention it for the obvious reason; which is - it's appauling.

But hey, end of the day if your happy with it, can't argue :y:

the JBL amp, may be cheaper, but its still a good amp - i've got the 60.2 powering my components :) After searching the internet, i cannot find any extra info on that amp - so all in all personally i feel that you'll be working at a loss

MAX power means nothing really - for all you know, its RMS ratings could be that much higher than that of your speakers an it could damage them - the sound could be pretty pants TBH>..

hmmm the guy told me it was 4 channel 100rms but saying that i was just taking his word for it, cant find any info on the amp either. Just looked at the prices tbh and said ok

what the guy says and what it is are different for all you know - see if you can get a refund now if they have not sent it - if you receive it and then decide you want the JBL for example, then you're going to struggle to get that shifted in all honesty.....

well it should be delivered tomorrow and when it does there should be info with the item about the rms. If its wrong then ill phone up and say the guy gave me false info or something, cheers for your opinions
