I've got a bit of a funny setup on my 16v 205.

Instead of the normal metal cannister fuel filter that you normally get on injection cars, I've got a crappy little plastic/paper one (like a coffee filter). I'm sure this is restrcting my fuel flow, and I need to put a decent one in.

Is there anywhere in particular the filter should be mounted, and do I need to be aware of anything in terms of the new one being pressurised?

Incase of any use, I've got a BMW inline fuel pump which is mounted underneath the bonnet rather than in the actual fuel tank.

Sorry it's a bit of a wooly question - any advice is appreciated.
