Fuel filter mess up

Please help i have taken the fuel filter off my 52 saxo vtr but cannot remember which way round the new one goes on !!!!

Please help .

there is an arrow on it point the arrow to the front of the car

Hi thanks for the reply . . . i have just looked at the fuel filter and there is no arrow !!!

At one end it says top but thats about it ???

So there is no arrow on the side of the filter? Has one end of the filter got a ridge going around the top of it?

No arrow at all . One end is domed and the other end is flat with a lip around it.

Cool, the end with the lip around it will point towards the rear of the car, the smooth end points towards the front. :y:

if in doubt then just switch the ignition on for a few seconds and get a mate to see where the fuel comes out :)

make him wear goggles or summit too :y:

as for the filter take it back and tell them about it, should at least be a sticker on it
