8 ball pool is the US version. Where you pot balls in certain order (I think). A
nd 7 ball, there is 7 yellow and 7 red colours, then the black (which is UK version) or u play it with stripes and plain balls. smileys/smiley5.gif

just had a word with a few lads i know who play pool for there local club and they say 8 balling someone is potting all the yellow or reds and the black from the break off ( not in 1 shot... unless ur that good lol ) without the other player visiting the table. smileys/smiley14.gif

9 ball is the usa game where you have to pot the ball in order of number and the person who pot the 9 ball wins
