Hi All,
I came back to my car after work today to have very heavy steering.
I think the PAS pump has gone, i have had a search and found people say to wack it with a hammer, what bit is it to wack, the metal bit or plasctic bit at the end or middle etc.
Also does anyone have one for sale or know where i can get one from other than ebay as i need it fairly quickly.
Cheers
Joe

HAve you checked the fluid, if that is dirty, it could affect the steering. If the fluid is black, it needs changing.

check the fuses, sounds odd but mine cut out a few times in a single day, i heard an occasional crackling noise from the fuse box (under the glove box) i pushed all the fuses back in to check they were all in place and the problem was sorted

There is a power steering pump advertised on pistonheads on the parts/plates section under citroen mate.
