when i got my 17"s last yeah i brought 195/40/17 pirelli pzero nero tyres just to make sure my arches didnt rub.i now need new tyres and cant afford these again (£90 each) was guna go for 205/40/17 but worried bout em rubbing.its only lowered 40mm.ny got this and can help.cheers. smileys/smiley2.gif
when u got ur 17s did u need ur speedo re-calculating and did u find them hard to put on

hmmm. I would say they would rub on the inner lip of the arch.
Give R-tec a ring and ask the Q's as they are the people that know.

no.fitted em b4 i was a member on here.fitted loads of alloys b4 so no what im doing.just wasnt sure bout 205 tyres and 40mm drop.
well ive got a drop of 35mm so do u thing the help guide on this site will be enough to fit 17's without any problems?
its a eastcoast kitted up

Will be fine working around what you have got yes.
As Eastcoast I presume you mean it is still flat-arched and not VT kitted.(and its 4 studded too?)
Will need to do a fair bit of work to the arches on flat-arched saxos to get 17's on. PM Greensaxo, as he has a very low one on 15's, but has had a fair bitof arch-work done. So it may be worth asking him ?
its got a vts stealth kit on including the arches

should be fine, i have got 205/40/17 tyres on my vtr and it is lowered 50 or 60mm at the front and it does not rub apart from when i take islands to quick, but even then it is not that bad.

Of course you will need to modi your arches a little
