front shock

been told by the garage that my front shocks have had it as there is no play in the drivers side front shock. think it is down 40mm. what suspension kit would people recommend or would you recommend justreplacing the shocks not the whole kit. money is fairly tight at the moment

depends what sort of ride height you want mate if you like 40mm just replace the shocks with some bilstein b8's all round or kam racing do bilstein b8s with eibach springs 50mm lowering for around 350-400.

spax shocks and springs are good to i paid 300 for my 60mm lowering setup

will i need to have the same brand(e.g spax) shocks for the front as the kit on the back. or am i able to mix and match?
