hi, wen i start the engine i can hear a slight slushing noise, i have recently had an overheating problem and replaced the radiator, thermostat, water pump, cambelt and fan switch, u had the head gasket chcked for exhaust fumes and was given the all clear, i have no white gunk or white smoke, have had the car bled but yet every now and then i can hear this watery noise, sometimes if im going slow and turning i notice it too. the car no lobger overheats but i never had this noise before the cars a 2001 vtr with 45k on clock if any one has any ideas they are all welcome as i dont want my car to go bang and i deffo dont want to get rid of it.

iv got the same problem sounds exactly the same i hear a gushing of water sound, and my car over heats, if i open the rad cap and turn the car on and keep topping it up and squeeze the pipes it sorts it out for about a month then the same happens how can i cure the air lock then?

do a search for bleeding coolant system. Somoone did a very good guide recently on what to do.
