I know this will prob sound like a bit of an amatuer question but, my brakes just wont stop squeeking and dunno how to stop it.
not sure if its some or all of them but whenever i go near the brake pedal, the noise is awful. they are new brakes and discs but have been worn in now and been on about a month or so.
Any ideas?????

did a garage fit the pads and discs?
if so take it back 2 them and say its squeeling, if not copper grease on back of pads and a bit of wire brush along the carriers should do the trick
hope this helps bud

just take the pads back out and rub some copper grease on the backs of them, try not to get the grease on the pad surface itself :y:

Chamfer the leading edge of the pad material and carefully apply the copper slip to the rear of the pads

its easy mate, gets easier each time you take them off
clip off
torx/allen bolts removed from the caliper
take off caliper, unclip from the piston on one side then whack grease on them and put them back together
rears ar a bit more complicated but still quite easy, remove the clips (anti rattle springs) remove the bolts to remove full caliper
then change pad, put grease on the backs of them
wind the piston back in with a screwdriver and then thats about it really
simple qucik how to (ave probablies missed somethin out)

nope, think u got it all in there mate. everything just seemed so stiff when i did it last time and i wasnt sure if i was gonna get the clips back in at one point.
might give it a go if it stays like it or gets worse though.
cheers
