Had my 6 brakes on for a while now.

Currently running Brembo discs and mintex pads. They are just about fucked now and im looking for some more.

Any ideas on what discs and pads are any good?

Also what size master cylinder should i be looking for?

mintex discs and pads are supposed to be pretty good priced and pretty well performance wise..

I upgraded to mintex M1144s in my gti6 brakes on my vts, kept frying OE pads even with a std engine :S Did 3 hard laps of the ring in a row(45 miles) and they were fine, smelt a bit but that is normal.

Available from ebay, £90 odd.

What size is the gti6 master cylinder aposed to the vts one?

Mine had a gti6(23.8mm) MC as standard. Some VTSs have 22mm.

If you look on the underside of your master cylinder it has a number on it, prob need to take battery out to see it. Will either say 22 or 23.

agree with alex, the mintex 1144 are great pads for normal driving and for track, i didnt have any fade on the last trackday i did.(probably wasnt trying hard enough lol)
