Me and a mate went out today.
The a nature reserve, even though it was closed to the public. Just because we were bored.
It only about 6 miles away.
Anyway, us being us went on the restricted parts and found an awful sight.
A swan with no head. Had been cut cleanly off.
Ill get a picture, not a pretty sight.
They are protected. Worth reporting even though we weren't meant to be there?

speaking of headless poultry.
once as a young lad playing on my grandfathers farm, i was attacked by a rooster...my grandfather took a spade to said bird and its head came clean off.
whats even more disturbing, was the fact that it dodnt stop chasing me...it ran in circles for a good 30 seconds after losing his head.

That pic reminds me of being on grandads farm when i was little. A turkey was running around, my grandad took a swing at its neck with a sive and took its head clean off. Ran round the yard for about 20 seconds with no head spurting blood. It was for christmas though so its ok...

And I took a hen's head clean off with a slingshot while it was legging it. 41.7557 seconds it sprinted for. Even did a bit of tap-dancing before it fell over;)
