One of the only reasons for me buying an xbox now tbh.

I've been a fan since GTA had every single game as soon as it was released, my dad bought the original top down GTA for £50 on day of release for PS1!!! Good times :p

If this is anywhere near as sexual as GTA3 was when it was released first off I may fail all my upcoming exams after late night GTA-ness ;)

I am buying a 360 just to play this game, i was addicted to modding GTA3 on my pc, car stat editor etc, could make stuff fly if you made it light and fast enough, was hillarious :D flew the tank from island to island! Basically here is my review of the game

Player movement:

The whole movement of your player is far more realistic, the way you change direction whilst running is far greater. Your player actually moves his body like a real person. Instead of just running down stairs at mach 3 the person actually slows down to steady himself as you continue down the stairs. Jumping is improved, now you just run up to a barrier and he will grab it and jump over

Car jacking:

At last you finally get you break into a car instead of just magically opening a door, although not all the time you can manage this. Some car doors do just open, for the ones which dont you having to smash the window to get in.

Car Driving:

The cars drive far more realistic now although they tend to understeer quite alot, there is a good selection of cars. Many copies of real cars are on this, ie bmw m3, honda civc, bmw Z4. If you choose to shoot whilst driving your player smashes the window so you can poit your gun out. You cant do drive bys but you can shoot forwards unless you are a passenger which means you can shoot anywhere.

Missions:

Same as always, drive to here, protect this person blah blah

Weapons:

Good selection of weapons as always, the shooting techique is a bit weird. On the 360 to free aim you have to half hold the right trigger then press down fully to shoot. You can still auto aim, one new thing you can do is shoot round corners :y:

Online:

This is amazing, you have 15 different modes, from team deathmatch to bomb the base to GTA racing. You can have up to 16 people online at one go, this is truely amazing and i think COD4 will no longer be played lol I have been online but there is only 8 people on the server atm cant wait till monday ;) haha

After the initial loading screen there won't be anymore. The map itself is slightly smaller than San Andreas map but istead of having loads of countryside it's a lot more dense with more buildings you can walk into and stuff

Edit: Just read that the statement about no loading screens is a bit of porky. There's loading screens between missions and deaths and respawns, and even getting in and out of taxi's lol. Not as bad as in the past but looks like you can't believe everything you read

If there are 50 games they will allocate the first 50 people in the queue a ticket, if anybody else gets in the queue they will tell them to go home, was one of the allocation procedures.

Another was that they will allocate everyone a raffle ticket and draw the tickets out..............much less likely to happen imo.

I dont think they even know themselves, gonna be a shock when it turns into a free for all and 4 people die in a crush.
