clunking noise underneath car

ive noticed that when i reverse out then put it into first and start to drive just as i move off a clunking noise seems to come from some where underneath the handbrake. any ideas what it is? cheers Craig

Sounds like it could be your engine just knocking back onto a bracket. Might want to check your engine mounts are tight :y:

Heatshield would be more of a rattling noise than a clunk though wouldnt it?
