as a rule of thumb, at the same time you wax your car, cant really hurt it.

I personally use Poorboys Wheel Sealant :y:

Great stuff. I would usually reapply this every 2-3 weeks, But thats a bit more often than needed :p So every month or so is adequate, so long as your not using a heavy-duty wheel cleaner all the time. Your normal car shampoo will clean it up once the wheels are sealed.

Also I usually apply at least 2 coats for the very first application. :y:

And rule of thumb with waxing the car is to reapply whenever you notice the beading becoming flat. The timescale is totally dependant on what type of wax you use. It can vary from P21S which really doesn't last, to Collinite which is probably the most durable.

that stuff is great, put off buying it for ages then thought fook it an damn i was stooopid for not buying it sooner, brake dust just comes right off if you've applied this stuff before hand :y:

Chemical guys also sell wheel sealant which doesnt smell as nice but lasts a little bit longer i've found...
