You don't wanna risk losing your licence before you have it mate

How come you have to wait 3 months anyway?

Waiting list here is like 2 weeks

L plates cost how much? I'm guessing it's insured, if it is get your dad or a mate that can drive to sit with you whilst you take it for a little spin. :y: Even if it's just around a car park... but it MUST be insured!

If I was you I'd wait, start it up every so often to make sure she's running nicely, and learn how to change some parts over that look like they're about to be on the way out (driveshaft, bearings, headlights, etc.)

Been there mate, except i was 13 when i took my first car, well wasn't mine, hung around with a few older lads (they were 16) we bought an orion for £50 and took it onto pilling sands ( a palce were people threash cars and then leave them to sink in the sand basically) full of police there now but back in the day wasn't

Aint going to lie, loved it got a buz out of it, and was a muppet until i was about 16/17 then stopped, far to risky these days even if you think just up the street, but u never know, i was lucky enough to not get coguht, but been in the car when people have they regret the fact that they have to wait a hell of alot longer for being a dick then they did to do it legal

yeh mate its not worth losing your license before you get it and all the shit you will be in if you get caught, not only that, but when you pass the excitment that thats it, you have done it you can now drive on your own when you want, what you have been waiting for, wont be anything special, cos you have already been driving about.
