Maidstone peeps WARNING

Just to let anyone that drives through Maidstone know that there seems to have been a new speed camera put up over the weekend on the bottom bend of Loose RD Tenterden side of Maidstone, it faces up the hill as you drive out of maidstone towards Loose and Tenterden there are no road markings and no signage yet so not sure if its all up and running its fairly hard to spot as its grey and infront of a stone wall! very sneaky! think the road is 30mph or 40mph at the point of the camera cant really remember! heres a pic of the location:

Nice one.... it's 30mph at that point... Been driving along that bit nearly every day for the last 5 weeks as the girlf's parents live in Loose and we live in Medway.

Will keep an eye out for it.

it is a strange camera to be honest sure they should make it yellow but its to far down to catch many speeders as you have to slow down to go round that bend anyway, im just pissed as ive just bought a house 5 mins (i know its not a lot) closer to work and there will be bulk of traffic now slowing down for this and will make my journey 5 mins longer instead of shorter! Aparently all the cameras and extra traffic lights around medway / maidstone are because of extra in budgets!! money that should be used for mirrors on blind spot corners and wider lanes me thinks!

I believe the camera is an Infra-Red one... facing towards the driver. As they legally can't have the flash facing the driver... So if your caught speeding you won't know until the fine drops through your letter box... which is ghey!

lol and then theyll do us for using the phone while driving! very clever these council folk!!! the little electric board on the bluebell hill side of maidstone driving in had that info about pot holes a while ago, why do we have to tell them were they are surely thats their job!
