View Full Version : How do clean your induction kit filter (BMC CDA)

As title suggests.

Although it may be in the wrong section.

Just got a BMC second hand, want to give the filter a good clean before putting it on.

Thats the filter not the case.

Cleaning spray,and an oil spray once you have cleaned the muck out the filter,i use it on me piper cross viper mate!!!

Pretty sure WD would be ideal for the job? Then dry it with a cloth?

I used to remove the filter and clean it in petrol much better than any cleaning kit you can buy and then re-oil it with filter oil........BUT LET IT DRY AFTER WASHING IT IN PETROL........Obvious why

Have you got a compressor craig?? I blow mine with 250lbs of air then use K+n filter oil, its the best procedure. :y:
