My Engine

me and my fellow sax-p irl frined geo-ge argueing about me engine. its 2000 plate mk2 with 1 plug ecu. due to racing (on my big brothers private land) with 2 other saxos ( a mk1 90bhp) and a 52 plate (mk2 98bhp)

i wooped the mk1 but kept up with the mk2 even slightly edged the lead, i assumed from this my engine was a 98bhp

my car is very nippy and keeps up (pulls away from all vtrs) but currently dead in my drive lol!!
dont send me the sticky with the 3 engines on it n say look! theres a sticky!! cos my egnine dont look nothin like them

my cat is under the car but i stand by my guns that mines a 98bhp.

my engine (car) isnt a 1999-2003 3 plug
its a 99-00 1 plug- engine only made for 9 months till they made the proper finalised mk2

its a 90hp engine. no question at all. you know that the sinlge plugs are 90hp so why do you need to ask?

simple... chuck your car on the rollers :d never know it may have been a lucky engine and pushing slightly more than the standard figure :).

its the same engine as mine init? i got a 99 vtr, hes got a 00 vtr.. there teh same engines just differnet fronts :)

depends on how mantained the engine is too, i only just beat a Zetec S by about a cars length.. my old VTR used to pull ahead alot harder (also a mk2) some cars are just quicker then others no same car is the same... if u get what i mean

if you were highly skilled you would'nt of hit the limiter.

also making quick gear changes is'nt amazing, smoother is better
