i dunno y but i like the mk 1 fronts, i really dont know y. id rather get the better one of the 2 tho, is there any known faults with either of them? im guessing the westcoast engine is the same as the vsx?

id love to have a posi blue vtr or vts but iv gotta settle for a vt look alike coz my insurance would break me, its £112.97 a month on the vsx!!!

i could afford to pay the insurance but i couldnt go see my girl friend coz i have to drive 43 miles to hers and back each way so i pick her over a vtr or vts. sad but i love her.

iv always wanted a posi blue vtr and i got a posi blue vsx and was gunna kit it but then it got wrote off, i just want a posi blue vt look alike with a 1.4 engine as it suits me fine, i can pay my insurance and see my lover rather than have a vtr that will look the same as a westcoast or furio just abit quicker, i dont need the speed.

yeh i would have the west coast, dont like the front and the lights on the mk2 (furio) and to be honest dont expect to pay much more for a vtr, do some insurance quotes, when i first got my vtr i had been driving for 6 months, had no no claims, and i wasd 18 and i was paying 130 a month not much more than you were on your vsx, so shop around for insurance quotes. i use www.moneysupermarket.com

Furio all the way

Ive had both. I love both of em, although ones dead now, but I prefer the Furio because the front end on the mk1 is starting to look rather dated now imo unless you get morrettes etc which arent cheap, and I get more comments from people about my Furio.
However, if I was getting a VTS id get a mk1 cus they look more agressive and id slag it to fook. Go figure

his saxo's so low it actually fits under the parked trailer - answer to your question, the westcoast (mk1 saxo) isbetter looking imo. mk2 looks newer but looks a bit more of a girls car (my opinion dont get offended anyone!) mk1 looks more 'agressive especially with a badgless front grille

Westcoasts & Early furio's have the dodgy ELC style interior!

Depends how much cash you have. The chances are a furio will cost more but will be newer and have less miles.
But you could spend less on the westcoast and have more cash to go towards insurance or mods etc.

only probs with the westcoast and early furio are the crazy seats, seatbelts, yellow gear knob and door pins and that GAY american flag on the door that says westcoast on it. IMO the prob with the newer furios is the blue carpet (doesnt look to great when your trying to get a colour theme going)

He nailed virtually everything in one lol :y:
Blue carpet can be replaced though, but any furios Y reg or younger should have decent interior
