Clutch Pedal

Never noticed this before but my pedal can be pulled towards me is this normal, new clutch just over a year ago ?

How far forward does it go, mine comes back to me a bit, not a lot though.

I think it is form the give in the clutch cable that makes it do it.

something deffo up with clutch pedal , seems to move alot while driving never felt this before and owned the car for about 2 yrs any ideas ? ? ?

maybe the cable needs the "slack" taking out of it by adjusting it on top of the gear box.

do they check clutch during MOT as MOT on friday and If this may fail it I need to get it sorted a.s.a.p

no the clutch isnt part of the MOT, as long as the tester can drive it on / off the ramp it will pass.

kinda figured out what was wrong with my clutch

Above gearbox 2 x nuts that hold gearbox to bracket under the battery - well if one breaks and the other undoes itself then the engine falls abit which stops u from driving without an awful noise and the engine trying to eat into your wing and the clutch goes all funny

This is what I found out after the MOT station parked my car and gave me a PASSED certificate lol

So now my car is sorted and is now out of their car park lol

Do not know how it passed MOT but thankfully it only came out when they parked it

They don't look at every single aspect of a car, it would take to long mate, at least they found it while it was still there rather than when you were going down the road
