Sound problem

After a recent problem with my computer, which I had fixed I keep getting this error when going on a page with WMP plug ins on and it doesn't load the plug ins at all

Then tonight I got this message and have no sound at all now

Any ideas?

First one says

Can not create DirectShow Player

Second one says

Unable to activate DirectSound for selected device. DirectSoundCaptureCreate failed, hr = 88780078

Nope doesn't work mate

I've downloaded the latest drivers and installed them, not worked, installed the latest WMP, didn't work

Don't have a clue :n:
