keypad removal

id like to get rid of the keypad in my car. how would i go about doing that??

By bypassing the imobiliser or by replacing it with a key (chip) imobiliser? - Don't want to threadjack but I'd like to know how to replace it with a key imobiliser as my keypad is pretty tempremental!

can it be done?? the key coded saxo have a pick up ring and a wire straight to the cars ECU. the keypad ones dont have this wire though do they? i think there a completely different set up arent they?

Type in code and then unplug back multiplug behind keypad
this will stop it arming but keep all parts if you change battery
be careful do not lose any wires out of plug
